They Die are an Italian trio that gravitates around the gothic world proposing the sounds of the dawn of the genre of the early eighties revisited in a contemporary key. The project is inspired by the atmosphere of the alternative discos of those years, reworked in the decadence of our days, obsessively repeating, like a mantra, the duality of love-death, seen and interpreted as the apex of an existence lived inabandonment.   Parasomnia is a band formed during 2018 in Santiago, Chile, which breeds a mix influenced by 80's classic post punk and darkwave bandstand also Latin American sounds. The quartet comprised of Mauro Cronenberg on vocals, Franco R. on guitars and synth, Sebastian Gonzalez on bass and F. Negative on drums and percussion compose a work of surrounding sonority and sharp noises, along with moments of subtle music execution and experimentation. On their behalf, the bands lyrics deal with introspective but social themes, with a lot of influence of contemporary philosophy and South American and Chilean poetry from recent years. Pete Herstedt, of Glorious Din,  passed away Tuesday morning June 7th in Portland Oregon where he had been living with his wife, Cathy since the 90's. News of Pete's devastating passing came to us by way of Eric Cope earlier today. Earlier today guitarist, Jay Padget posted on the Glorious Din Facebook page. "I received some sad news from Pete's wife Cathy yesterday. After a struggle with cancer Pete passed away last week. Unbelievable. I was shocked even though I knew he recently had a stem cell treatment. I talked to him a couple weeks ago and he was doing pretty well. He sounded just like his old self" / Jay  Pete had battled cancer for some time and had been in touch with two of his Glorious Din bandmates Jay Padget and Eric Cope just weeks before.
